Education & Experience

An open letter to therapists.JPG

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience working with Adults, Teens, Children, and Families to address a variety of issues. I am a non-traditional and creative therapist respected for my unique and straightforward approach to therapy and engaging with clients.

I provide services in a way that reduces barriers to treatment and helps best assess and address the issues that brought you to treatment. We work together to Develop a plan for change and to reduce and eliminate barriers to success. I Attend IEP & 504 Plan meetings and Observe and See Children in Schools.  I see clients in their Homes, via Telehealth, and in my office as is Clinically Appropriate and Necessary.

I believe that the relationship, connection (“fit”) and trust between a client and therapist is the true measure of how helpful the counseling experience will be for an individual.

I have a Degree in Addiction Studies and spent the first part of my career working with individuals, and families affected by addiction. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Marist University in Poughkeepsie NY, and moved to Chicago in 2000. I graduated from Jane Addams College of Social Work with my Master's of Social Work (MSW) in 2003.

I am licensed with the state of Illinois.
